One of the biggest problems of the Senegalese health system, and of African countries in general, is the lack of communication between health professionals and their public.
The average Senegalese is generally not informed of the real states of the health system as well as the basic principles of care that can be a subject of discord or misunderstanding between professionals and the general public.
Similarly, there is a palpable lack of prerequisites with regard to certain emergency procedures that every individual, member of the circle of health professionals or not, must assimilate in order to maximize the chances of those concerned.
There is also, in our so-called developing countries in general, a lack of involvement on the part of the authorities on the real priorities of the health system.
